First Axiane Meunerie Convention: Two Days to Share Our Collective Ambition On June 29 and 30, Axiane Meunerie held its very first company convention, bringing together nearly all employees from its mills and sites across France. A landmark event dedicated to sharing, recognition, and building the future together.

Over two days, teams had the opportunity to reconnect, discuss the achievements of the past financial year, and explore the challenges and ambitions that will shape the company's future in the years ahead.

A Unique Moment to Strengthen Team Spirit

This first convention marks an important milestone in Axiane Meunerie's history. By bringing together the vast majority of its employees for the first time, the company sought to create a special occasion that encouraged meaningful connections, mutual understanding, and the sharing of a common vision.

Opening the event, David Hubert, Chief Executive Officer of Axiane Meunerie, paid tribute to the commitment of the teams:

"This convention is, above all, yours. I am particularly proud of our teams, who are the driving force behind our mills, bring our expertise to life, and embody Axiane Meunerie's ambitions every day. Thank you all for your commitment, expertise, and dedication. Together, we will continue to build tomorrow's successes."

A powerful message that set the tone for these two days dedicated to celebrating achievements and preparing for the future.

A Year of Collective Achievements in the Spotlight

Throughout the convention, the various teams shared the progress made in key areas including safety, quality of life and working conditions, Food Safety Culture, industrial performance, business development, operational excellence, Supply Chain, and communication. These are all fields in which employees have actively contributed to supporting the company's sustainable performance.

The projects presented also highlighted the many initiatives undertaken to address the sector's transformation challenges, including reducing plastic consumption, developing more responsible logistics solutions, improving information sharing between sites, and promoting milling expertise among stakeholders.

Understanding Tomorrow's Challenges

Beyond reviewing the past year, the convention was designed to look ahead. Presentations by David Gonin, President of Axéréal, and David Hubert addressed the major transformations currently reshaping the grain-flour-bread value chain: climate change, resource preservation, food sovereignty, evolving consumer expectations, technological innovation, and more.

These insightful discussions underscored the importance of combining performance, responsibility, and innovation to prepare the future of the French milling industry.

A Value Chain Moving Forward Together

One of the key moments of the convention was a roundtable discussion bringing together representatives from across the value chain: agricultural production, processing, the food industry, and bakery.

The panel featured David Gonin (President of Axéréal), Sébastien Peras (farmer and Axéréal Board Member), Florent Simonneau (Sales and Marketing Director, Axiane Meunerie), Fabien Guillot (Purchasing Director, BARILLA), and Philippe Marc (Managing Director, Atelier Banette), who shared their perspectives on market developments, consumer expectations, and the collective challenges facing the sector.

These discussions reinforced a shared conviction: the future of the industry depends on dialogue, cooperation, and the complementarity of expertise.

Thank You to All Teams Involved

These two days also provided an opportunity to thank all employees who contributed to the success of the event, whether by helping to organize it or by ensuring business continuity across our mills and sites.

This first convention will be remembered as a unifying moment that showcased the strength of the Axiane Meunerie collective and its shared determination to help shape the future of the industry.

Together, let us continue to bring our expertise to life and inspire responsible indulgence in service of the Earth, People, and the Future.
